    Manudirect Project

Conclusion of the European project addressed to the ultra-precise laser sintering

The 18th February took place at the “Treviso province council room”, the press conference concerning the illustration of a revolutionary technological invention, that is the result of a project called Manudirect.

This innovation is the result of about 10 years of research activities and an investment of about 8 million euro financed by EC. The project was coordinated by the Interuniversitary Consortium CSGI (Nanomaterials laboratory) and SIEMENS Corporate AG. Other relevant companies and European research centers concurred to the achievement of results.

MBN Nanomaterialia and Manudirect developed together the project of a high resolution 3D printer for nano-materials. An instrument that is completely different on the global market, and that can be employed in an infinitive range of possible industrial applications.

This extraordinary technology “made in Treviso” was unveiled by the “production activities councilor” Michele Noal, that expressed his vivid satisfaction and his wishes for the successful outcome achieved by two companies that, together with other companies present in the Treviso area, are taking part to the “industrial pole of nanotechnology” of the Marca.
