The project allowed to develop a revolutionary machine for the fabrication, via laser sintering, of metal micro components starting from the tridimensional image realized on PC (CAD) with high precision and reasonable costs.
The manufacture of this prototype has been done thanks to the strategic partnership with important European industrial entities specialized in different technological fields: energy, electronic, medical diagnostic (Siemens); aeronautics (Airbus/Eads); motors (MTU); biomedical devices (Lima); machines (Ideko/Danobat) .
The machine is addressed to the European manufacturing industry and is able to sinthesize many typologies of metallic-ceramic materials.
